athletics the 1st Inter-
Udalguri District School Atheletics Meet-2018 was organized here at
Tangla Stadium ground in
Udalguri district on Saturday. The event organized by
Tangla Sports Association was witnessed widespread participation of nearly 300 athletes from 25 different schools of
Udalguri district. The
sports competitions included Running Race,Long Jump,High Jump,Javelin,Discuss,Shotput Throw,
Rally among others were held for both Boys and Girls categories. The opening ceremony was attended by former Panery MLA,Kumud

Sensation has been prevaling in Udalguri district following the cold blooded murder of a tea garden labour. One Ravi Baiga(35) of Suwala Tea estate died after he was attacked with Dao by miscreants. In a shocking incident, an advocate of Guwahati High Court has faced acid attack on Saturday evening. The advocate was attacked while she was getting down from a bus in Bharalumukh bus station in Bharaumukh area of Guwahati by unknown miscreants.
