Governor of Assam His Excellency Shiv Charan Mathur while speaking news persons after meeting the Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) delegation said that as a constitutional head of the state he is willing to call a all party meeting in Raj Bhawan to discuss all aspects of situation meted out of the Thursday's powerful serial bomb blast that rocked the globe killing some 81 innocents on paper records (as eye witness claims of several hundreds deaths) and living deserted some 380 injured in the various hospitals.

Governor also added that people of Assam has shown great courage so far to combat terrorism and was marching ahead with peace however the sudden cowardly act of terror has left everyone numb. "I express my condolence to deceased and pray for peace of their eternal soul in heaven, I also express my solidarity to the injured who are still recovering from the ill fated cowardice activity", said the nominal head of the state. He added that he will lend all possible help and use all his authority to bring back normalcy in the state after the cursed Thursday's episode that is why he is in favour of a all party meeting. CJM Court building repairing has began today and all the rampaged cars and motorcycles were removed.

Governor also assured the same lines to the AGP delegation lead by party President and Leader of the Opposition of Assam Legislative Assembly Mr. Chandra Mohan Patwary with all sitting MLAs, MPs and former ministers besides office bearers. State wide peace rallies, candle light peace rallies were organized , fund for blast victims and injured persons were collected and fruits for injured persons in various hospitals were distributed.
