Serial blast: NDFB denies home ministry accusation
A few hours the union home ministry pinned the blame on NDFB and ULFA’s for the recent serial blast engineered by the external forces, NDFB has refuted the charges firmly.
Talking to a private satellite TV channel on Monday NDFB general secretary Govinda Basumatary has cleared that those arrested in this connection belong not to his outfit. He has alleged that his outfit is being implicated unnecessarily.
Notably, ten days after the serial blast, the Union home ministry disclosed that ULFA and NDFB were behind the tragic incident micro managed by the external forces.
ULFA was quick to deny its involvement hours after the serial blast. But NDFB has come to follow the suit 24 hours after the home ministry’s allegations.
Meanwhile, police have arrested several NDFB activists in this connection. But the NDFB general secretary said these youths do not belong to their outfit. He further has said the main accused Thungri Narzary was never an NDFB activist.
