Two Nazira Youths Missing While Travelling to Bengaluru, Families Seek Public Help

Concern and anxiety have gripped Nazira following the mysterious disappearance of two young men who went missing while travelling to Bengaluru for work.

The missing individuals have been identified as Anjan Jyoti Das (30), son of Ananta Das, and Biswajit Das (34), son of Suresh Das. Both are residents of Ward No. 1 in Nazira town.

According to family members, the two left for Bengaluru on June 12 by train from Simulguri Railway Junction. They remained in regular contact with their families during the journey until June 14. However, from June 15 onwards, both of their mobile phones became unreachable, causing growing concern among relatives.

Family members subsequently approached the Railway Police at Simulguri and lodged a missing persons complaint.

During his last conversation with family members on June 14, Anjan Jyoti Das reportedly informed them that he and Biswajit had deboarded their train at Perambur Railway Station in Chennai. Since then, no communication has been established with either of the two men.

The sudden disappearance has left their families deeply distressed, particularly as no information regarding their whereabouts has emerged over the past several days.

Railway Police have launched an investigation and initiated efforts to trace the missing youths. Authorities are examining available leads and coordinating with relevant agencies as part of the search operation.
