Gogoi confident of landslide victory

Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi pins hope on the Congress victory in all Lok Sabha seats in the state.

Addressing the political convention of the party at the Sarusajai Indoor Stadium on Sunday, Gogoi said the AGP regime is nothing but a blot in the history of Assam.

In yet another development AGP and BJP categorically slammed Congress for its comment on AGP-BJP poll pact a day after Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma and Pradyut Bordoloi termed it a surrender of AGP before BJP. In two separate press conferences in Guwahti on Sunday, both the party said the ruling party is scared of losing their ground in the state. AGP spokesman Atul Bora and BJP spokesman Charan Deka further said the ruling party is also surrendering before BPF, a regional party only to form the government.
