7 killed on DHD(J) attack in NC hills

In yet another gruesome attack by DHD(J) rebels, five policemen along with two others persons were killed in North Cachar hills district on Monday. According to information, the incident took place in between Kalanala and Panimur under Diyungmukh in the hills district at around 2 in the afternoon.

The Dimasa rebels started indiscriminate firing at the as they were escorting a truck belonging to the Binoy Cement. All these 7 persons died on the spot. Apart from the five APBn jawans, a driver and a civilian were among those killed in the incident. Top ranked police and civil officials rushed to the spot and man hunt is on to nab the culprit. The incident took place a few hours after a person was killed in an incident of firing.
