More trouble awaits Guwahati on I-Day

There is more disturbing news. An ULFA team is at work in Guwahati to strike in the city during the Independence Day salted dor Saturday. This has forced police to gear up to dela with this hardcore team of women ULFA cadres. What is more disturbing is that the women cadres are bomb experts who are joined by their counterparts in NDFB. These cadres have managed to sneak in to the city a few days back.

According to police sources, the city is put on alert in view of these disquitening inputs that the insurgent outfits are desperately trying to foment trouble in Guwahati. Notably, ULFA along with four other rebels outfits operating in the north eastern regional have called for a boycott of the Independence Day celebrations with a general strike on August 15. These include NDFB, the Kamatapur Liberation Organisation (KLO), Manipur People's Liberation Front (MPLF), and Tripura People's Democratic Front (TPDF).
