HSLC test postponed due to non availability of question papers
Non availability of MIL (Hindi) question papers have caused unpleasant situation at HSLC Test centre situated at Kalaigaon Higher Secondary School on the morning of October 26.Moreover, students appearing for MIL (Assamese) had been served with question papers containing 90 marks instead of 100 marks. The matter came to notice one hour after the commencement of the examination. School authorities had to set questions for ten marks on their own. In another serious incident students appearing for MIL (Hindi) had to return home as question papers did not reach the examination centre. Irate guardians assembled at the centre demanding arrangement of the MIL (Hindi)question paper. When contacted, Ganesh Musahari,secretary, UdalguriExamination Board assured that examination for the said paper would be arranged on October 30 with new paper. In another incident, appearing for Bodo (MIL) in Sunjwrang High school had been served Assamese MIL papers. School authority had to collect Bodo medium papers from another school situated 7 km away and examination could be held one and half hours late. People strongly condemned the Udalguri Examination Board for the failure to conduct the test examination properly.
