Bangladesh Visa Camp at Guwahati

The Deputy High Commission for the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Kolkata has arranged a one-day Visa-camp in Guwahati tomorrow (6th November 2010). This camp is organised on an experimental basis with view to easing the inconvenience of the people who have to travel a long way to collects visas for Bangladesh, stated in a release by Kazi Moshtaque Zahir, First Secretary (Press), Bangladesh deputy High Commission, Kolkata.


The camp will be held at the office of STUP consultants (Pvt) Ltd, 135 Hemkon Villa, MRD road, Chandmari, Guwahati -781003. Filled- in Visa forms will be received three from 10 am-12 noon and visas will be issued from 4-5 pm on the same day.


Visa forms can be collected either from the camp or from the website of the Deputy High Commission (www.bdhckolkata.org). A person applying for Visa must submit a passport with at least 6 months validity, recently taken 3 copies passport-size photos, copy of Voter-ID card and professional proof, among others. For business visa, additional documents such as, recommendation from the concerned chamber business, invitation from Bangladesh, copy of bill of entry and trade-license will be required.
