Centre clears prosecution of NC Hills engineer
The Centre has approved prosecution of an engineer in connection with the multi crore scam. According to home ministry sources, NIA probing the terror funding cases in NC Hills gets green signal to prosecute an engineer Karuna Saikia in this connection where funds meant for poor people has been siphoned off and part of swindled fund reached DHD-J.

The centre's move towards prosecution of the dirty hands who had siphoned of the funds meant for the poor comes with a positive note. However, poor people of the land will get justice once they are booked and the money used for their development purposes...
