Gogoi backs big dames

Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi on Saturday made it plain and simple that he and his government support big dames. Addressing a press conference in Guwahati on Saturday he said that his government will help NHPC get the standred turbines at Gerukamukh at any cost.Gogoi,s comment assumes significance in view of the statewide protest against the safe passage of the turbines now blocked in Dhubri.

On the Dispur violence probe the chief minister said Akhil Gogoi and KMSS should make it clear what probe they wanted to unearth the truth....magisterial or judicial?
