AASU rally at Raha against power cut

The Raha unit of All Assam Students’ Union ( AASU ) today took out a rally at Raha on Thursday, in protest against the frequent power cut at Raha and its neighbouring areas. The rally started from PWD Inspection Bunglow and went through the Raha bazar road. More than hundreds of AASU members, supporters,,local residents and students of several schools of the town took part in the rally and shouted slogans against the Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (CAZ ). Later the AASU members burnt the effigy of the APDCL at the Raha Electricity office premise.
