Resolve border dispute with Assam: AAPSU to Tuki

The All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union on Saturday demanded steps to resolve the decade old inter-state boundary problem with Assam. Addressing a press conference in Itanagar, AAPSU president Takam Tatung said that it won’t be a daunting task to amicable resolve the issue while both Dispur and Itanagar have Congress governments. He said that the issue is a purely a political one that that needs a political approach. AAPSU had sponsored a 24 hour state-wide shut down on Friday demanding early solution to the boundary problem.
