Akhil demands Prez rule in Assam

KMSS leader Akhil Gogoi on Friday demands President’s Rule in Assam to bail out the state from the worsening law and order situation. Talking to reporters, Gogoi said that Guwahati is teeming with lumpen elements and criminals where the people have no safety and security. He further demanded a CBI probe into the incident saying that the incident suggests total collapse of law and order in the state. He further claimed that the DGP is aware of the whereabouts of the criminals ad that he can’t take action in face of pressure from the government. KMSS activists, will gather on Sunday in Guwahati to protest the breakdown of law and order in the state.
