Militants attack NCHAC EM's residence

An Executive Member of the North Cachar Hill Autonomous escaped bid on his life on Tuesday evening while a group of armed miscreants sprayed several rounds of bullets at his official residence housed in Haflong town. The new executive member Kaljay Singh from ASDC was absent from his residence ast that time. But his residence was damaged in the firing.
