Reconstitution of Linguistic Minorities Development Board
The Assam Sovernment has reconstituted the Assam Linguistic Minorities Development Board with Sanjay Kr. Chakraborty of Nagaon district as Chairman and Director of Assam Minorities Development Board as Member Secretary.
Other members are Bipad Bhanjan Sarkar of Morigaon, Prof. Sushil Sarkar of Bongaigaon, Sulochana Dhar of Dhubri, Nikunja Narayan Sarkar of Lakhimpur, Ashok Duttagupta of Hailakandi, Aniruddha Dey of Nagaon, Swapar Sur of Sivasagar, Chandan Mazumdar of Dibrugarh, Kader Rabidas of Cachar, Satya Charan Biswas of Morigaon, Uttam Dutta (Pintu) of Nagaon, Bikash Saha of Sonitpur, Swapan Ghosh of Karimganj and Seema Gupta of Karbi Anglong district.
The official members are Commissioner and Secretary to the Govt of Assam, Finance, P & D, WPT & BC, Education (Ele.) and Secretary, WMD, Deptt. The above committee has been formed vide a Notification issued on April 25th, 2013.
