Tarun Gogoi demeans dissidents with cracking jokes

Addressing a party press conference on Saturday, Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi, slammed the leaders of the dissident Faction and toyed with their ambitions and misadventure dreams wanting to see Gogoi falling from the top. However, a very positive body language of the Chief Minister at ease spelled the name of health minister, Himanta Bishwa Sharma, said, that though once he was a favorite minister once, now no longer the health Minister rules his heart. The Chief Minister made it clear that he is all set to be the chief minister even for the next term if his health be by his side.

Though expressing all his anguish with cracking jokes, Gogoi said that personally he has no enemy. “Prafulla Kumar Mahanta is not my personal enemy, yes we have ideological differences, ask Bijoya Chakrovorty, we are no enemies” said the Chief Minister who was seen in a very light mood today at the press conference. A confident Gogoi talked about the developmental works that was done in Guwahati city, and sees no reason why the people will not vote the congress in the forth coming Council election. He dismissed all the TV channel reports that have shown the development works in very poor light. “Let the TV do the negative publicity and the people will keep voting the congress” said the Chief Minister. He also spoke about the Mangaldoi Civil Incident, and advocated for filing a criminal case against the culprits. Though reports says that four people were infected after blood transfusion in the hospital, the Chief minister is still waiting for detail reports. On the issue of Narendra Modi, Traun Gogoi said that the Congress is not at all afraid of Narendra Modi, instead the BJP is itself afraid of Narendra Modi.

Some districts of Assam may be reeling under flood but over all there is big deficit of rainfall in the state, the rainfall also is less than the previous year during the period of June and July, reports Regional Meteorological centre, Guwahati. Assam in 2013, is having a deficit of -37% in comparison to Plus 25% Last year from the Month of June 5th and July 12th. A new police station, in the Nilachal Hills, near Kamakhya Temple was inaugurated on Thursday in presence of IGP Central Western Range LR Bishnoi. The new outpost will better serve the people and add up for the temple security which comes on the wake of recent Bodh Gaya blast.
