NE student assaulted in Delhi

Despite massive protest and preventive measures, racial attacks on the north east people refuse to die down in New Delhi.

Yet another north east student was injured in a case of racial attack in the capital. The incident took place in Basant Bihar area where goons assaulted a Manipur student on Saturday night on his way back from duty.

According to allegations, four goons assaulted the student with rods and snatched away his ATM card and money in cash and then fled from the spot.

The student has already lodged a complaint with the Basanta Bihar police. Investigation is going on.
