BJP averse to pact with AGP

AGP-BJP pre poll prospect hits a major road block. The regional party has almost finalized the deal.

The central BJP leaders are not averse to the idea. Then what forced the party to halt? State BJP unit is not happy at the prospect of poll alliance with AGP.  

Reliable BJP sources told Assam Times that they are united against a pre poll tie up with the regional party which mires in a number of crisis.

If need be, a BJP delegation is all prepared to leave for Delhi to convince the central leaders of the futility of the alliance.
