Assam LS polls in 3 phases

Assam will go to the Lok Sabha polls in three phases.

Disclosing this at a press conference, Chief Election Commissioner VS Sampath on Wednesday, he said that the state would hold the polls on April 7, April 12 and April 24.

The counting would take place on May 16. The entire process is set to be completed by May 31.
