Badaruddin’s son bypoll candidate

AIUDF has fielded Abdur Rahim in the Jamunamukh bypolls slated for September 13.

The name of AIUDF president Badaruddin Ajmal’s son has been formally announced after the party’s poll panel met in Guwahati on Tuesday. 

The Opposition party further announced the name of Mukesh Pandey for Lakhipur while Noor Ahmed Borbhuyan will contest from Silchar constituency.

The bypolls will take place from 7 in the morning on September 13 while the results would be available on September 16. The process of filing nomination starts on Wednesday.
