Bongaigaon beat Kashibari
Bongaigaon XI Star Club beat Kashibari Youth Club from Udalguri 7-6 via tie breaker in the Daoharu Mungklong Trophy being played at Dotma DASA ground in today's match and entered into semi final in Kokrajhar. For Kashibari, Naben Sahariya equalized the match scoring lone goal in 76 minutes and the match wax draw with 1-1 in the second half.
Later, organisers conducted penalty kick where Bongaigaon defeated Kashibari 7-6 goals and entered into semi final.
For Bongaigaon, Sukursingh Basumatary netted first goal in 30 minutes and led the match 1-0 in the first half.
ASEB, Guwahati will take on Salbagan FC, Gossaigaon on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Barhoongka AC defeated Bingco Sports Club, Strongline Daloabari 4-0 in the Tikendra Brahma and Aolang Brahma memorial football tournament played at Kagrabari ground today.
For Barhoongka, Ajit Karjee scored first goal in 35 minutes, Nwukwu Michael in 44 minutes, Nwjwrsing Basumatary in 45 minutes and Lamkin thank Touthang scored goal in 68 minutes and won the match with 4-0.
Dihung Sports Club, Kagrabari will take on Dotma DASA ON October 15.

Former president of Kokrajhar district unit of Bharatiya Janata Party, Binati Bala Basumatary resigned from her party membership on Monday. Basumatary submitted her resignation letter to the state party president citating personal reason . She was Kokrajhar district BJP president for 2011-2015, who had gained strength of the party through her strong leadership in the district. Basumatary's quit of the party ahead assembly election would draw a set back party strength in the Kokrajhar. Three cadres of the NDFB(S) were arrested by security forces in a joint operation belonging to police and army at Hakata village under Barama PS in Baksa district on Sunday. The cadres were identified as Jwangsar Boro @ KK, Mohit Mushahary and Pramod Ramchiary @ Khankari @Raja of Baksa district. They were actively involved in extortion, arms smuggling and other nefarious and anti national activities and Adivasi carnage in December(2014) and had run away and sheltered themselves in Chennai, till their return.
