The city based ‘down town hospital limited’ in association with Guwahati Press Club has organized a free medical camp for the scribes with their families on 8 February 2016 at press club premises. The health check-up camp, which is scheduled to start at 10 am, will conclude by 3 pm.
Physicians representing various departments like medicine, cardiology, orthopedics, diabetology, obstetrics & gynecology, ENT, physiotherapy etc, will be present in the camp to advice the participating scribes where different medical tests including ECG, lipid profile, random blood sugar, blood-pressure, neuropathy test, weight, height etc will be conducted.
Dr NN Dutta, chairman cum managing director of the pioneering private hospital in northeast India is also expected to attend the camp for some time. Member-journalists along with their families are requested to participate in the camp for necessary healthcare consultations.
