I am delighted to know about the inaugration of the Don Bosco University, the second catholic university in the Country. I hope that this university will in time to come cater to the students at the national level by offering its courses through the Distance Education Medium which will be highly beneficial to the students who wish to persue higher education which is out of the reach of many under preveliged students. Don Bosco institutions have been noted worldwide for their high academic standards.

I am so much impressed with the establishment of the Don Bosco University, the first ever private university in the state (Assam). In facts the academic standards of the state would be enhanced evermore with the spirit of competitve mindedness between the state own and the private,s technical university. I hope this would bring about a positive change towards development of the region. After all, I convey my thanks to the Catholic Church for bringing the dreams of the young generations come true.
