A 43-year-old man has been found dead early morning inside his own car at Canchipur under Singjamei police station in Imphal West, police said. Irom Haimo of Chanam Pukhri Mapan Ahongsangbam leikai, Imphal West left his home around 11a.m. yesterday in his car along with an ATM card to withdraw money from a bank. His body was found inside the back seat of his car near Catholic school located at Canchipur.Besides some injury marks seen on different parts of his body, a gold chain and the ATM card were found missing from his possession, they said. Though the police are clueless about the nature of his death, it has been suggested that he might have died due to drug overdosed but his family denied it, saying he was not a drug abuser. The body has been kept at the RIMS mortuary.
