A person was electrocuted near Kokrajhar bazaar this evening in Kokrajhar town. He was identified as Ekramul Mondal(42) of Bilasipara in Dhubri district. He was engaged as dhalai labour at a construction of building in Kokrajhar town near main bazaar.
Mondal was died on the spot following electrocuted,who was engaged with building construction work near main bazar in Kokrajhar town.The incident took place by 5.30 pm in the evening as Mondal has been electrocuted while he trying to down the climbing track of the building construction.
Police rushed the spot and brought the body to police staion for PM. Labours alleged that Mondal was died due negligence of building owner and constractor the dhalai work as they had not taken nay precautionary measure to the works.

Kokrajhar, May 2: A search operation that began yesterday evening concluded today with the recovery of three bodies from the Beki River near Manas National Park in Baksa district.
The three youths, identified as Deep Saha, Raj Saha, and Abhijit Karmakar, all from Barpeta Road, reportedly went missing after entering the river for a swim on Wednesday evening. Local sources informed that authorities, including the police, SDRF, and local residents, launched a search operation late Wednesday night.
"The bodies were fished out of the river this afternoon after a thorough search," a local source said.

KOKRAHAR: A sense of alarm has gripped the Jharbari area after a timber smuggler was discovered dead in a firing incident during the early hours of the morning in Kokrajhar. The incident occurred along ride no. 1 under the Jharbari range of the Haltugaon forest division in Kokrajhar district, where the smuggler was fatally shot while transporting logs on a cycle from deep within the forest.
