Transport minister Chandan Brahma along with two parliamentary secretaries from the Bodoland Peoples’ Front are quitting on Friday a day after the ruling Congress severed its ties with the Bodo party.
BPF anounced the decsion on Thursday after the executive meeting in Kokrajhar alleging that the Congress has done precious little for the BTAD areas.
Congress sources told Assam Times that they are happy with the development and that the ongoing development suggests a clear cut understanding between BPF and BJP.
