Himanta’s resignation accepted

 Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma’s resignation has been accepted. Chief minister Tarun Gogoi has suggested Governor JB Patnaik to accept the health and education minister’s resignation leter he submitted on Monday.

Dr Sarma on Monday put in his papers saying that he was not physically and mentally prepared to work under Tarun Gogoi as chief minister.

After the receipt of the letter, Gogoi sent the letter to the party high command seeking final seal of approval.
