Idols immersed as Durga puja over

Durga puja is over. Puja pandels have fallen silent. The idols of the goddess of strength, mostly, have been immersed in rivers and water bodies across the state on Friday evening after the Mahanavami and Dasami on the same day. But a section of the puja organizers are set to immerse the idols only on Saturday morning. Guwahati also falls silent after soaking in the festivities for a week. The idols were immersed on the river Brahmaputra while city district administration has asked the remaining organizers to complete the immersion of the idols by Saturday noon.
