Full fledged operation against NDB-S

Security forces are going all out against NDFB-S n Kokrajahr and Chirang districts five days after the militant outfit killed at least 70 people in Kokrajahr and Sonitpur districts.

Police officials told Assam Times that 36 additional forces have arrived in the state. Fifteen companies have been deployed in Kokrajhar,9 in Chirang and 6 companies each in Baksa and Udalguri districts.

All the extra companies have been deployed in the operation against NDFB(S) which is being intensified in Ripu Reserve forest, Chirang Reserve and Kachugaon Reserve forest.
