Samabai Samiti employees union warns for agitation
The employees union of the All BTAD Gaon Panchayat Level Samabai Samiti has warned for agitation if their jobs and salaries were not met in their working level.
The first annual convention of the employees union was concluded with two-day colourful programme scheduled at Titaguri Iragdao community hall and resolved to press the governments to seeking regulraisation of their jobs and regular salaries.
Hazarika Brahma, president of the union said that the union will step for launching agitation against governments if their demands including regularization and salaries were not met out from governments end. He said that the employees at the samiti are working in cheap salaries and facing several hardships. He has alleged that employees are depriving from government facilities including regular job, salary, GPF, PF and insurances due to insincerity of government.
He has demanded that employees of the samabai samiti should be stepped for regularized of job,regular salaries as per govt rules. He also informed that there are over 500 employees are working 85 samabai samities in the BTAD region and they were not given proper salaries and their jobs are not in gain position, Brahma added.
An open session was also held on the occasion with Hazarika Brahma, president of the union in the chair. Damodhar Dahal, adviser of the union graced the function as inaugurator, Matla Hembrom, chairman of Tinali Samabai samiti limited was also present on the session.

Security forces claimed to have seized a huge cache of arms when they raided a house in Chirang district on Friday two days after they busted a fundamentalist training camp.Acting on a tip off local residents and raided the house of Sayed Miyan where 8 AK-47 rifles were among others were seized. Police on Thursday got remand of Amitabh Sarma for three days after the PWD engineer in Chirang district was arrested in connection with a Rs 1.5 crore scam in the department. Before that he was produced before the Kajalgan CJM who remanded Sarma to police custody. BTC transport buses are preparing to expand its area of operation to West Bengal and Meghalaya.BTC executive member Jagadish Sarkar told reporters when he attended the 8th foundation of the Bodoland Transport Services at Dial Gaon in Kokrajhar on Wednesday.He claimed that the BTC transport service has earned Rs 80 crore revenue per year. “We have been able to earn approximately Rs 82,000 per day against which expenditure including the cost of diesel Rs 51,685 and average profit of Rs 30314 per day”.Among those who attended the programme includes BTC executive member Dhaneswar Goyary, BTC Secretary in-charge of Bodoland Transport Services Dinesh Boro, attended the programme.
