Eminent Assamese singer Pulak Banerjee inaugurated the first copy of Evolution, an English monthly, at Guwahati Press Club on 15 May 2015. Banerjee was assisted by senior journalists Nava Thakuria, Rajib Choudhury and Hiren Kalita to launch the new publication. Kailash Sarma, the editor of Evolution also spoke on the occasion.
