Surface communication from Bandordewa to Itanagar remains disrupted following the massive landslide in Arunachal Pradesh Sunday.
The landslide took place at Kachengmara where a portion of the National Highway No 51-A collpased on Sunday morning following incessant rains during the last couple of days.
Hundreds of trucks carrying essential commodities and other vehciles have been remaining standred since Sunday morning.
“Steps are on to restore surface communication between Bandordewa and Itanagar. We hope that we would be able to do these within the next couple of days,” Arunachal Pradesh authorities told Assam Times.
