AASU demands action into encephalitis prevention

The AASU activists staged demonstration in front of the joint director office of Health Services in Kokrajhar demanding preventive measure from Japanese Encephalitis in the district as the disease has been attacking human lives across the state.

The students union submitted as memorandum to Prime Minister Narendra Modi through Joint Deirector of Health Services,KOkrajhar seeking strong measure to end the JE diseases in the district.

The students union told that the peoples of the state are suffering from JE diseases day after day, yet concern department has not been giving sufficient steps to control the diseases of which why many people lost lives in various districts of the state. The union has alleged that there is no special cell and necessary medicines with health centre and district hospitals to check the deadly diseases.

They union has demanded govt and health department should take bold step to prevent the deadly diseases and unfit conditions of the health sectors in the district as well across the state.
