Bhupen memorial by Oct

The Gauhati University premises is throbbing with the activities to complete the Dr Bhupen Hazarika Samadhi Kshetra by November 5.

Men deployed in the ambitious project are working round-the-clock to meet the target. Dispur is firm on its decision to open the memorial on November 5, the fourth death anniversary of the award winning maestro.

Chief minister Tarun Gogoi himself is monitoring the progress with PWD minister Ajanta Neog and minister for cultural affairs Bismita Gogoi.   

The Chief Minister who reviewed the progress two days back asked his two ministers to meet the deadline.
