NRC update meets healthy implementation
At least 110% NRC updation was met in Kokrajhar district as today is the last day of the NRC form submission across the state.
Madhav Prasad Sarma, Kokrajhar Deputy Commissioner told reporters today that the district has met implementation of 110% in the NRC updation and peoples joined whole heartedly in the process under the guidelines of the Supreme Court.
He said that peoples from walks of life stepped to the NRC Seva Kendra and joined to fill up forms in the district. He has expressed his satisfaction that citizens participated in the NRC seva kendra and submitted their NRC forms as per process through concern officials.
He said that district administration has engaged sufficient staff and officials in the NRC seva kendra to meet cent percent implementation in the district and till the last day submission of forms reaches to 110 percent.

An emergency response mock drill was conducted by the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) at Habrubari in Kokrajhar district on Friday,which was a part of offsite emergency mock on the IOCL Guwahati-Siliguri underground pipeline to test the preparedness of its emergency personnel.
