Curious UFO in sky!

An unidentified object hovering around the sky in upper Assam pulled no less spell of curiosity among lakhs of people on Wednesday evening.

Much to the utter surprise and curiosity, the comet like object was spotted in the sky in and around the Naharkatiya area at around 9 in the evening forcing the people to come out of their homes to watch the strange objects. But there was no conclusion even from the experts.

The same object struck the heavy attention of the people in Dibrugarh district on Tuesday night.

 

Meanwhile, ISRO officials in Shillong told Assam Times that they were not aware of such objects in the sky. But they said if it is spotted it might be drones.

whether ISRO or NASA they will never confess that ufos are of extraterrestrial origin...i have witnessed an ufo from the front yard of my house in jorhat,assam, india on 23rd june 2015...the ufo hovered for about 40mins and finally shot off at lightning speed into the night sky..it can travel at the blink of an eye and i dont think that a drone has that technology...if drones can accelerate at lightning speed then we sud able to go for interstellar travel sitting in a drone itself..whatever i saw was nothing made on earth..nothing made om earth has technology to accelerate away and shot off at the speed of lightning

Yes. I live in dibrugarh 2days after this event i saw a ufo around 8pm while i was talking to my friend on phone suddenly i heard a loud noise and the phone's signal was lost.my frined too heard ths noise. I looked up and i saw a big ufo with purple light hovering on top of me. I quickly went inside and called my mom and sister. When they came it went away in a lighting size and became like a star but was moving very fast. My friend also saw the ufo

Gogoi tears apart VK Singh

Student rescued in Chirang

Chirang police have rescued a student two days after he was kidnapped by miscreants from Mazabari area who were caught on Thursday. According to police, identified as Saidul Islam, he was kidnapped by unknown persons and rescued him from Mazabari area near Shyamtaibari under Sidli police station of Chirang district. The arrested persons were identified as Monohar Basumatary and Neemko Basumatary. A pistol and two live bullet recovered from their possession. 

Imposters held in Shillong

The Shillong police have arrested three female imposters on Thursday after he allegedly took money for providing job.On receiving a complaint from Airis Kharbuli and Fadris Kharbuli, police launched an operation where Reshma Mawthoh was caught along with her associates Durga Thapa, Lakshmi Chetri at Umkdait who have already taken money from a number of people promising jobs in police, CISF, BSF and ITBP. Many applications along with copies of original documentary of candidates were seized from their possession.

KMSS takes out torch rally

Hundreds people across the state took out missiles on Thursday evening in protest against the Centre’s move to allow the non Muslim Bangladeshi immigrants to stay as refugees where Assam will have to bear the brunt.Armed with torches under the banner of KMSS, man and women in large number hit the streets shouting slogans against the BJP-led government at the Centre by forcing Assam to bear the extra burden of aliens.The protestors further threaten to launch united stir against the move if the Narendra Modi government proceeds with the deal.

Driver, elephant killed in truck mishap

An elephant and its driver were killed when a truck rammed into the animal on which three people were travelling on the national highway in Khetri area on Thursday. The tragic incident took place in the wee hours when the speeding truck hit the elephant as it was trying to overtake the tame animal which was coming from Sonapur to Jagiroad.The elephant drivers Kamal Boro and his Mohan Basumatary fell seriously injured. Kamal was shifted to the Guwahati Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to injury. Assam students rescued from hostage

The Meghalaya police on Wednesday rescued two students from Assam 3 days after they were kidnapped from West Garo hills.Identified as Liakat Ali and Mosassar Hossain, the minors were rescued from Balapara village near Ampati in South West Garo Hills.“They were rescued from Balapara village on Wednesday”, said Aditya Goenka, superintendent of police from South West Garo Hills.
