Curious UFO in sky!

An unidentified object hovering around the sky in upper Assam pulled no less spell of curiosity among lakhs of people on Wednesday evening.

Much to the utter surprise and curiosity, the comet like object was spotted in the sky in and around the Naharkatiya area at around 9 in the evening forcing the people to come out of their homes to watch the strange objects. But there was no conclusion even from the experts.

The same object struck the heavy attention of the people in Dibrugarh district on Tuesday night.

Meanwhile, ISRO officials in Shillong told Assam Times that they were not aware of such objects in the sky. But they said if it is spotted it might be drones.

whether ISRO or NASA they will never confess that ufos are of extraterrestrial origin...i have witnessed an ufo from the front yard of my house in jorhat, assam, india on 23rd june 2015...the ufo hovered for about 40mins and finally shot off at lightning speed into the night sky..it can travel at the blink of an eye and i dont think that a drone has that technology...if drones can accelerate at lightning speed then we sud able to go for interstellar travel sitting in a drone itself..whatever i saw was nothing made on earth..nothing made om earth has technology to accelerate away and shot off at the speed of lightning

In a recent attempt at moral policing, an Assamese News channel- Pratidin Times, depicted a news item in a voyeuristic fashion and compared women to monkeys. This led to a public outcry and a mass condemnation across social media and elsewhere.A spontaneous peaceful gathering protesting against this was halted by the police on Sunday, before it even started. The protestors were detained as a 'prohibitory arrest' and were stopped from further assembly. We strongly condemn the arrest by the authorities. The rampant moral policing by media in public as well as private spaces has been continuing unabated in the Assamese Media. No attempt has been made to counter this menace. An attempt is now...
Why Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma is in a haste to join BJP? Political observers are straight in their comments. A CID enquiry is in progress which will unearth the real story. The Central Bureau of Investigation probing the chit fund scam has already grilled Dr Sarma on the basis of the purported letter by Saradha chief Sudipto Sen. CBI has yet to file the charge-sheet.
