Stop hob-knobbing with cattle smugglers

One after another expose seem to have left the Golaghat police red faced. After the stunning extortion near Dergaon the other day, a section of policemen draws more ire from a number of organizations.

The Hindu Jagaran Manch on Monday has accused a section of policemen of aiding and abetting the cattle thieves. In a statement, the organization’s president Jayanta Goswami and General Secretary Achyut Nath warned the policemen of dire consequences if they are found to be associated with the cattle thieves.

They further demanded stern action against the cattle lifters and the policemen who have allegedly been helping them.
