Boro Somaj hailedautonomous council creation

Dularai Boro Somaj and Bodo Writers Academy have welcomed the chief minister’s announcement of creation of autonomous council for the Bodo Kachari people living outside the Bodoland Territorial Area District(BTAD).

Speaking reporters at Kokrajhar Press Club here today Bodo Somaj president Rajen Boro vice president of Bodo Writers Academy and Rajen Basumatary,  said, “We welcome the chief minster’s announcement of council for Bodo kachari people outside BTAD. They said the Bodo Kachari council will is a initiative for development of the Bodo KAchari people living outside the BTAD who are deprived lot from all front.   They urge the state government for necessary official process and formation of interim council before the Assembly election notification.

They also urged upon the government to keep in confidence the national organisations of the Bodos when the state government formulate the rules and moralities of the Boro Kachari Autonomous Council.
