International Womens' Day at Tangla College

On the ocassion of International Womens' Day an awareness programme on 'Legal Rights of Women' was organized at Tangla College conference hall  in joint collaboration of Tangla Women Cell and IQAC cell today.Women cell convenor Sabita Mazumdar Kalita,Principal Dr.Prasen Daimari spoke on the ocassion. The programme was presided over by Chandan Baruah co-ordinator IQAC cell. The programme was attended by Rashmi Rekha Devi and Minati Deka advocates of Mangaldai bar association as guest speakers. Various attrocities meted on women,female fortitude ,dowry,domestic violence and their laws were discussed.
