The  Bodoland Janajati Suraksha Mancha condoled the unitimely demise of Thaneswar Basumatari. Basumatari was a active member of the organization. "His sudden demise on Saturday pre-dawn at about 3 am has come as a great shock to me" said  Jayanta Boro General Secretary of central committee of Bodoland Janajati Suraksha Mancha. Basumatari was a resident of Jharguri village of Kokrajhar district.
