Juevinile accused of theft

A juvenile accused of theft was beaten black and blue by irate public at the premises of SBI Tangla Branch on Tuesday afternoon. An employee of RGVN (NE) MicroFinance Ltd. Gokul Kr. Das went to SBI Tangla to deposit an amount of 2.89 lacs at about 3.15 pm. The juvenille by trick tried to snatch away the bag from the employee. The juvenile was manhandled and beaten up by irate public and handed over to police custody. The juvenile is a resident of  Pagla station village of Bongaigaon. An FIR in this regard has also been filed at Tangla police station.
