Mass plantation drive at Nonaipara TE

A mass plantation drive was held at Nonaipara TE near Nonai Reserve forest forest of Udalguri district on Tuesday. At the nondescript village, a large plantation drive unfolded today with schoolchildren, tea-garden labours,tea garden administration planting more than 1,000 saplings to save Mother Earth from global warming.

The plantation drive was launched by administration of Goodricke Group Limited owned Nonaipara TE. Paragjyoti Das Senior Asst. Manager,Naijal Desuza Asst.Manager actively partricipated in the drive. The drive carried out in a area of 5-6 bighas land also saw participation of Satya Boro Ranger Nonai Reserve forest and Dipak Hazarika Labour Union official.

On the ocassion Paragjyoti Das spoke about the importance of plantation to school childrens.
