Preparations have got underway to host the 49th biennial conference of Assam Madhyamik and Karmachari Santha with three days colorful programme scheduled beginning from May 11 at KDSA stadium in Kokrajhar. Speaking the reporters on Saturday at Govt HS & MP school in Kokrajhar, Gopinath Borgoyary, president and Dipti Prasad Brahma, general secretary of the reception committee of the conference told that the conference would be held with three days colorful scheduled. There are over 1200 delegate and members from 33 district committees of the santha are participating the conference. The conference will discuss about the problem and issues of the teaching community in the state, said the reception committee leaders.
'We have completed all kinds of arrangements so far to accord welcome delegate and members participating to the conference. Issues and problems of teaching and non teaching staff would take place in the conference', said Gopinath Borgoyary.
The reception committee released programme scheduled today and appealed cooperation frome all sections during the conference to make the conference a grand success.
Kampa Borgoyary, BTC deputy chief will grace as chief guest, Babulal Sarma, director, secondary education, Assam, Prof Hemanta Kumar Barra, VC Bodoland University, Madhav Prasad Sarma, DC, Kokrajhar, Pramila Rani Brahma, MLA would grace as guests on the concluding day of the conference on May 13.
Baukhungri, a souvenir published from Reception Committee would be released by Padmashri Kameswar Brahma, presidential of Bodo sahitya sabha on May 12.
