Miscreant fires round of shots at lawyer's residence

Unidentified miscreants fired rounds of gun shots at the residence of lawyer Rajiv Khaglary at Maibanguri of Udalguri district. The incident occured on Thursday pre-dawn at about 2 am. Miscreants who came in motorbike fired rounds of gun shots with automatic guns and immediately fled away.

Police went to the scene and found 7 empty cartridges of AK 47 rifle. No persons have been reported to be hurt in the incident. Police investigations are on. The lawyer who practices at Udalguri district court could not be reached over phone for further inputs.
