SBI officials met BTC authority
Gautam Battacharjya, General Manager of SBI North Eastern circle on Wedneday met BTC deputy chief Kampa Borgoyary and senior officials at BTC Secretariat to discuss about financial services as well enhancement in the region.
Battacharjya along with senior bank officials from Kokrajhar banks met BTC authority and discussed in detailed about the banking services and its aspects in the region.He said that SBI interacted with council leaders on the banking facility as SBI still have 40 branches across the region with dedicated of services for people’ welfare.
“We interacted with BTC leaders about banking facility and its needy matters on detailed.SBi has been operating 40 branches in the region with good dedication”,gautam said.
Kampa Borgoyary,BTC deputy chief told that the council urged the bak authority to make speedy up of services with providing good dedication so that customers should not be face any hardships in their respective areas.
“We urged the bank officials to make proper uses of bank branches in their respective loacations.We demnaded eraly and suitable serives among society to give proper services”,Borgoayry added.

Apurna Narzary, an international women's football player, has been nominated for the Emerging Player award for 2022-23 by the Sports & Youth Welfare department of the government of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR). Narzary has represented India in several international events and is the daughter of Biswajit Narzary of Khagrabari village in Kokrajhar district. The award will be presented to her during the Baokhungri festival celebration at Baokhungri Hill site near Harinaguri in Kokrajhar.
