Govt claims NDFB-S role in Balajan

The government on Saturday claimed to have identified the perpetrators in the Balajan bloodbath where 14 people were killed in a reign of terror at an open market.
According to government sources the neutralized perpetrator was none other than Manjay Islari who along with a few others unleashed the reign of terror with firing and bombing on the common people in the open market.

Meanwhile, a 6 member NIA team is taking the statements of the eyewitnesses amid an intensified counter insurgency operation.
The army, police and para military forces have been expanding the operation area to the neighbouring BTAD district to trace down the culprits who managed to flee from the spot.
