AASAA condemns Rowta killing

The Udalguri district committee of All Adivasi Students' Association of Assam (AASAA) has strongly condemned the recent kiling of Purnananda Orang 20) on August 12 last through a press release.
Reportedly unidentified gunmen fired 5 rounds of shots at him from point blank range killing him on the spot. His dead body was recovered behind the Baligaon LP School of Rowta under Udalguri on August 13.

The deceased is the son of Dilip Orang of village Bhulabari under Kalaigaon police station of Udalguri district. The students' body expressing its resentment towards the administration and government demanded inquiry and arrest of the murders involved in the ghastly killing. The students body also demanded ex gratia amounting to Rs.10 lakhs to the next family members of the victim.
