Mild tremor jolts Assam

A mild tremor rattled Assam on Sunday triggering massive panic among the people in the high rise buildings in Guwahati.

The tremor was felt at 9.36 in the morning where many people in Guwahati tried to come if their houses. There is no initial report if any casual so far. Details awaited.

9 Assam Workers Killed in Ennore Power Plant Mishap

A devastating accident at the Ennore Thermal Power construction site in Tamil Nadu claimed the lives of nine workers from Assam and nearby regions on Tuesday, after a steel arch collapsed.
